This version of the application includes enhanced integration with documents, additional document types, improved SHPO data (including NRHP determinations), and other features. AZSITE Member Mapping allows the user access to the AZSITE database via spatial interactions. The AZSITE Database is a consolidated informational network of recorded archaeological sites, historic properties, districts, and inventory surveys within the state of Arizona. It is designed to reduce the amount of research time required for class 1 surveys and to provide a database for research projects. No cultural resource data from within officially recognized Tribal Lands are included in the AZSITE database.

Access to non-sensitive data and generalized cultural resource information via spatial interactions.

AZSITE Public Mapping was developed to present non-sensitive data to the general public and visitors to the State of Arizona. It was also developed to provide a broad overview of the potential cultural resource restrictions that may occur during land development, without providing specific locational information to culturally sensitive data. No cultural resource data from within officially recognized Tribal Lands are included in the cultural resource sensitivity layer.
Access to this application requires a user login but there is no cost associated to obtain access.� Those who have AZSITE Member logins can use that information to log in.� Those who do not have AZSITE Member logins can create an AZSITE Public Mapping login at the Public Mapping entry page.
Funding for portions of AZSITE Public came from the Arizona State Parks.
