Research by Mark Hackbarth (NRI), Rick Karl (ASM) and reviewed by John Rose (BLMKFO) suggests all these road segments in the Big Sandy River Valley area linked several mine areas and created a network of roads between points of interest, towns and mines and should be consolidated into a single number for clarification. The road between Signal and Hackberry with a turn off to Kingman at Round Valley was first established. In 1924 the connection from Hillside was made. As the mines played out and the railroads became more prominent the roads' names changed to reflect more common desitnations. The exact routes are still in question and the routes plotted in AZSITE are from CRM project recordings. All future updates to the road network in the the Big Sandy River Valley area will be consolidated under site number AZ M:6:3(ASM)
